True Story of War, Politics, Espionage, Magick and Wizardry Premieres on Coast to Coast AM & YouTube.com Tonight
Last update: 12:54 p.m. EDT July 22, 2008
LOS ANGELES, CA, Jul 22, 2008 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- A new book, "Enochian Vision Magick," by popular and acclaimed occult author, Lon Milo DuQuette, and DuQuette's groundbreaking videos on YouTube.com once again prove history is stranger than fiction.
DuQuette will be the guest tonight on the Coast to Coast AM with George Noory Radio Show and will discuss one of the most bizarre and fascinating chapters in the history of western civilization. Tonight's interview will revolve around DuQuette's new book, "Enochian Vision Magick"( http://www.lonmiloduquette.com/_books.html), and two new YouTube video readings and first-ever real magical demonstrations from the text.

"It's a true story of war, politics, espionage, and magick and wizardry in the days of Queen Elizabeth I," DuQuette recently told an audience in London. "In order for the Virgin Queen to secure her throne, defeat the Spanish, and establish the British Empire, she enlisted the aid of a real live magician, Dr. John Dee. His first task was to astrologically determine the date of the Queen's coronation. He then went on to become her most trusted secret agent (who signed his secret dispatches 007). He was also her wizard, and was credited with raising the storm that sank the Spanish Armada in 1588. So famous was he in his day that Shakespeare used Dee as the model for his storm-raising magician Prospero in his famous play, 'The Tempest.'"
DuQuette's new book, "Enochian Vision Magick," reveals in exacting detail the magical ceremonies performed by Dr. John Dee and his assistant Edward Kelley, who for over three years had almost daily discussions with 'angels' in order to spy on the enemies of the Virgin Queen. In the course of these conversations they would also inadvertently learn secrets of creation and of human consciousness that have long been the quest of philosophers and visionaries. "This is an amazing story that is immensely relevant to today's mind explorers," adds DuQuette.
Tonight will be DuQuette's third appearance on Coast to Coast AM. "Enochian Vision Magick" is published by Red Wheel Weiser. For more information visit:

LEADING AUTHOR OF ESOTERIC BOOKS TAKES ON LIFE OF JESUS
Oak Park, Illinois One of the world's leading experts and most prolific authors on the mysterious world of esoteric religious traditions and occultism is to publish his first novel in January. A fictional tale that offers a provocative yet plausible retelling of what has been called the greatest story ever told the life of Jesus Christ.
Illinois-based Thelema Aura LLC announced today that it would be publishing Lon Milo DuQuette’s Accidental Christ The Story of Jesus (As Told by His Uncle), sometime in late January. The book will be DuQuette’s first work of fiction, and marks his transition from an author specializing in works aimed at students and scholars of esoteric subjects to a mainstream storyteller.
“This is an exciting time for me. I’ve always loved telling stories and focusing on the narrative in my books. For years people have urged me to apply my knowledge of history, religions and sacred traditions of our world to a work of fiction so I decided to take a shot at it. The result is Accidental Christ.”
DuQuette admits that the book by its very nature is bound to offend those who will mistakenly feel it is an attack on their belief system. However, he stresses he just wants to entertain his readers and challenge them to consider different ways religious texts and traditions might be interpreted.
“What we're learning about life in first century Palestine is throwing light on many obscurities in the Gospel narratives, and is offering many interesting and provocative alternatives to how those texts can now be more objectively interpreted.”
“When you get right down to it, nobody owns Jesus. His name and character aren’t trademarked; the words attributed to him aren’t copyrighted. Whether or not his historical existence will ever be confirmed, he’s become a classic mythological figure who, for good or ill, has taken up permanent residence in the psyche of Western Civilization. I have as much right as the next person to interpret the Gospels.”
“Considering Christendom’s role in the bloody conflicts of the last two-thousand years, and the history behind the hatred that fuels today’s Middle East conflicts, it might be time for twenty-first century adults to take a new look at the greatest story ever told. So I wrote one.”

After 300 Years
Magical Book of Forbidden Knowledge
Translated into English
Middlefield, MA For nearly three centuries the famous occult and magical book Opus Mago-Cabbalisticum et Theosophicum by German Alchemist Georg von Welling has been available only in 18th century German.
Until now.
“I could not believe that the Opus could have lain untranslated in its entirety for so long.” says Joseph McVeigh, Professor and Chair of German studies at Smith College, who has recently translated the Opus into English.
This first-ever translation has been met with glowing reviews and brisk sales. A renewed interest by historians and consumers in Alchemy is making the book a popular item. Azure Green, a large distributor and retailer for all things metaphysical has sold numerous copies since its debut this year. Azure Green owners Adair Carafella and Tamarin Laurel-Paine point out that the 551- page book is sought after because it is rare and truly original material. “There is very little that is original material in books today. Von Welling’s book, however is not only original, it is considered one of history’s most important alchemical work,” explains Laurel-Paine.
Professor McVeigh’s translation is prefaced with an Introduction written by internationally renowned occult author and lecturer, Lon Milo DuQuette, (www.lonmilo.com). DuQuette refers to this edition as an “Alchemical masterpiece.” DuQuette states, “This, in all likelihood, was the actual book of forbidden knowledge that fired the imagination of the magician Faust in Goethe’s immortal play. Von Welling’s work can also be traced through the doctrines and teachings of many European esoteric institutions including those of the Freemasons, Rosicrucians and the Golden Dawn.”
First published in 1719, the book was popular in its own time, and was still being published in a third edition at the same time masterworks of Enlightenment Philosophy by Immauel Kant were appearing. Professor McVeigh has brilliantly transformed von Welling’s magical writings and dozens of alchemical illustrations into a clear text for contemporary readers. “Reading von Welling’s work, one can imagine Faust’s dark study where he struggles with the futility of earthly knowledge and the temptation this book offered him with its claim of secret insights into nature and the cosmos,” says McVeigh.
The Opus Mago-Cabbalisticum et Theosophicum, published by Red Wheel/Weiser
is available in hardcover from Azure Green 800-326-0804, www.azuregreen.com.

Move Over DaVinci Code
The Key To Solomon’s Key, Ignites Historical Bombshell of ‘Biblical’ Proportions
Middlefield, MA Readers looking for an even more striking revelation will find it in a controversial new book that hits bookstores next week. The Key To Solomon’s Key, Secrets of Magic and Masonry, by Lon DuQuette, brings subjects of mystery and intrigue, Freemasonry, Knights Templar and King Solomon, to an astounding conclusion. DuQuette, a celebrated occult author and Mason, reveals for the first time an intricately woven connection between King Solomon’s legend and the Templar/Masonic legacy.
According to accepted history, King Solomon has long-held an established position as a wise magician King. He is a key element to the traditions of three warring religions, as well as the central figure of both the secret rituals of Freemasonry and the forbidden rites of sorcery.
Yet, DuQuette respectfully calls into question the truth of the story of Solomon, his magnificent Temple in Jerusalem, and the very keystone of the Bible that supports and connects the Old Testament to the New.
DuQuette’s research addresses the reality of King Solomon in a tightly woven narrative
that is sure to shock the world. It is here between the shadow of religion and magic that The Key To Solomon’s Key dispels myths and, for the first time, explains to the public a most dangerous secret - infinitely more fascinating than accepted history.
Richard Kaczynski, Ph.D., Yale University, Author of Perdurabo, The Life of Aleister Crowley states, “For those of us lacking the resources to excavate occult secrets hidden beneath the Louvre, CIA Headquarters or Rosslyn Chapel, The Key to Solomon’s Key is the next best thing. These pages reveal the true secrets of Solomon, from Masonry to magic. DuQuette’s experience and learning make this fascinating journey through the history of the Bible, Knights Templar, Freemasons, and the Goetia all the more striking because it is real.”
DuQuette is the author of over a dozen well received books on Occult subjects, including,
Angels, Demons & Gods of the New Millennium; My Life With the Spirits; The Magick of Aleister Crowley; and Understanding Aleister Crowley’s Thoth Tarot. DuQuette lectures and teaches internationally.
The Key to Solomon’s Key, Secrets of Magic & Masonry , published by CCC Publishing, (www.cccpublishing.com) will be available May 31, 2006.
